Terms of Use

These terms apply to Emma's Library, operated by Pulse Intelligences. By using the service, you agree to these terms and, for the Apple app, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

Using the service

You may use Emma's Library for personal, non-commercial listening and learning. Do not misuse the service, bypass access controls, disrupt delivery, scrape protected media, share account credentials, or infringe another person's rights. You are responsible for activity under your account and for providing accurate sign-in information.

Subscriptions

Emma Premium is offered as monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions. The price and period shown by the App Store at purchase control. Payment is charged to your Apple Account; the subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in Apple Account subscription settings. Restoring a purchase requires the Emma account used when purchasing. Deleting your Emma account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Content and learning information

Audiobooks, artwork, software, and service materials are protected by applicable rights. The catalog may change as licenses, quality reviews, or availability change. Summaries, quizzes, and educational material are for general information and are not professional medical, legal, financial, or educational advice.

Content you submit

If you use Studio or group features, you retain rights you hold in your submissions and give us permission to host, process, and deliver them only as needed to provide the feature. Submit only material you have the right to use. We may filter or remove material that is unlawful, unsafe, abusive, or infringing. Reading Groups provide controls to report content and block another reader.

Availability and responsibility

We work to keep the service reliable, but it is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Features may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Ending use and changes

You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend access for serious misuse or legal reasons. We may update these terms and will post the new effective date. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply where permitted.
